The round table acting club is based in North Tyneside and is currently rehearsing for our inaugural play 'THE BEST OF ENEMIES'

CASTING CALL - UNPAID AMATEUR PERFORMANCE

Round Table Theatre Club – “The Best of Enemies”

We are still looking to cast one main supporting character - please see the details below.

​

“It’s Remembrance Sunday and two Veterans reminisce about their past, and how their friendship remains intact even after the war threatened to destroy it.

​

“We follow Bert and George as they go from leaving school, where Bert’s main issue is who George is dating, to working at the shipyards where they start to question who they are as individuals, to becoming soldiers on the front line and being forced to grow up quicker than they ever imagined.”

​

Rehearsals take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 7:30pm at Laurels, Whitley Bay. The performances will take place on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th November at The Exchange, North Shields.

Playing Age: Late 30s / Early 40s

Role: George’s dad, works at the shipyards. Has very strong morals.

Main Role (son George is one of two co-leads).
